00 per hour/ up to 25 hours per week Job Summary Reporting to the Perkins Innovation and Modernization Grant Project Coordinator, the CTE Dual Enrollment Navigator works directly with advanced technologies dual enrollment (high school) students to identify, assess, and overcome barriers to success.
The Navigator aids students in accessing campus resources for academic, financial, or personal support, and trains students in how to use a syllabus, manage time, balance life and school, take notes, study, take tests, and manage test anxiety.
They communicate with faculty members regarding student progress and may also provide tutoring services or connect students to tutoring services to aid in retention and achievement.
They support High School Programs (CTE) staff, including event planning related to dual enrollment and dual credit endeavors.
Job Duties Provide proactive and individualized coaching for assigned student population.
Assist in dual enrollment student recruitment and completion of enrollment processes.
Assist students in developing skills and accessing resources to support academic and career success.
Maintain accurate and current documentation concerning participant contact and progress, as well as maintain data and records in support of grant program reporting and evaluation requirements.
Deliver tutoring sessions via various modalities, including face-to-face and online during designated timeframes.
Serve as a liaison between faculty members and high school staff to promote student progress, retention, and success.
Collaborate with faculty and student academic support staff on the delivery of support components.
Completes other assignments as directed by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.
One year of professional experience working with at-risk student populations, providing either student support services, case management, teaching, or tutoring.
Demonstrated experience with record keeping and data collection.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of professional experience working with at-risk student populations, providing either student support services, case management, teaching, or tutoring.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience within career and technical education programs of study.
Experience with student information systems and other campus resources such as Banner, Degree Works, MyNortheast, and D2L.
Conversational ability or fluency in a second language.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Technology Skills:
MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems, and data information systems.
Professional written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work with multiple constituencies, while being flexible and prioritizing multiple projects.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
