We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant Accountant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities within the manufacturing plant.
This includes managing the plant's financial operations, handling inventory management, overseeing payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, with a keen understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.

Responsibilities:
Administer all financial processes within the plant, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Manage the plant's payroll using ADP payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Oversee the plant's inventory, implementing effective inventory management strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Handle accounts receivable (AR) duties, ensuring all payments are received and properly recorded.
Utilize EPCIS to track and trace the flow of goods within the manufacturing process.
Manage the plant's materials, implementing effective materials management strategies to ensure the plant has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
Prepare accurate journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of the plant's financial records.
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
Prepare and present financial reports to the plant's management team, providing valuable insights into the plant's financial performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role within the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in ADP payroll and QuickBooks.
Strong understanding of payroll, inventory management, AR, EPCIS, materials management, and journal entries.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot numerical errors.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial staff.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
CPA certification is a plus.
